Fuji Seminar 2013

The 7th International Workshop on Time Series Analysis

October 17-19, 2013

The Fuji Seminars started on September, 2003 at Prof. Tohru Ozaki's cabin in the lap of Fuji san.

Besides Prof. Ozaki, the founding group was formed by Drs Jorge Riera-Diaz, Andreas Galka, Okito Yamashita, Kevin Wong Kin Foon and Jorge Bosch-Bayard.

Although at the beggining the main motivation of that group of still young researchers was not preciseley science, the seductive atmosphere of the Fuji cabin, the quieteness and beauty of the nature, promptly estimulated the scientific discussions and the brains started to produce storms. In this first Seminar, under passionate discussions the main ideas of our beloved "NNARx" were nurtured and the method came to birth.

The taste of the Seminar persisted in the mind of the scientists and succesive editions took place on 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2011 stablishing the tradition that we are going to honour in this 2013.
